A long history
The cemetery has been an important part of local history for over 210 years with its first burial recorded in 1811.
The names on some of the oldest gravestones tell our story as many of the families in the area continue to carry those same names today.
One of the graves is Ebenezer Bacon, one of the founders of the hamlet of Bacon
Hill.
